West Brom v Everton Asian Handicap Betting Preview – Monday 28th September by @SC457

West Brom v Everton – The Hawthorns at 20:00 live on Sky Sports 1

We were treated to plenty of goals this Saturday in the Premier League, with all 8 games seeing Over 2.5, 35 in total, an average of 4.375 per game. West Brom welcome Everton to the Hawthorns this evening and I can’t see this one following Saturday’s trend, just as the Watford v Palace match didn’t yesterday, which was recommended by Eastbridge Soccer Betting Broker.

The Baggies will be looking for their 3rd win in 4 matches but are yet to win at home this season, picking up just 1 point in 3 games. It’s not been a bad start for Tony Pulis though, with 2 wins, 2 draws and 2 losses, WBA have done pretty much what would have been expected.

They were arguably a bit lucky to come away with 3 points away to Stoke and Villa but there is nothing lucky about their solidity at the back. As you would expect under Pulis. WBA are very organised and disciplined in defence, keeping 4 clean sheets in their opening 6 matches so far this term.

They have only conceded against Chelsea and Man City, which is not awful, but to concede 3 against each at the Hawthorns, may have concerned their manager. However, since their loss to Chelsea, they haven’t conceded in their last 3 matches and they will be tough to break down tonight.

Everton have also had a good start to the season and their away defensive record has been excellent, keeping 3 clean sheets in their last 3 matches on the road. The Toffees have conceded just 5 times in their opening 6 matches, only Tottenham and Man Utd have conceded as few, but have played one more game.

Everton will control the ball tonight whilst West Brom will be happy to rely on their strong defence. Between the 2 sides, there have been 7 clean sheets in their 12 matches and a stalemate could well be on the cards.

Looking at the Asian Handicap betting market, Everton -0.25 at 2.14 looks to represent a little bit of value. If someone is going to nick this one tonight, it will be the Toffee’s but I’m more confident looking at the Asian goals line.

Under 2.25 at 1.92 stands out and simply has to be backed.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Under 2.25 goals at 1.92
