Swansea v Chelsea Asian Handicap Preview – Sunday 11th September by @SC457

Sunday’s Premier League action comes from Wales as Swansea host Chelsea at the Liberty Stadium. The visitors offer some value of the Asian Handicap market despite being short favourites.

Swansea started their season well with an away win at Burnley but things haven’t gone as well since. A home defeat to Hull was followed by a difficult task against Premier League champions Leicester. With just 3 points from a possible 9 and a tough run of fixtures ahead, Swansea may well find themselves at the bottom end of the table by the end of October.

Since Francesco Guidolin took over in January, he has picked up an impressive 31 points from a possible 60. That’s top half of the table form. With Chelsea, City, Arsenal and Liverpool to come however, the Swans may find points hard to come by.

They haven’t as yet showed the form from the second half of last season, but have a fully fit squad apart from new signing Borja Baston who is doubtful. The new signing hasn’t yet made his debut and may have to wait a bit longer.

Under new manager, Antonio Conte, Chelsea have won their opening 3 EPL matches. It’s fair to say though, they have been fortunate with their early schedule.

West Ham looked to be a tricky introduction to the Premier league, however the Hammers haven’t shown the form of last season so far this term.

The Blues comfortably defeated Watford and Burnley and the market suggests Swansea will suffer a similar fate.

Chelsea are 1.67 favourites to win on Sunday, which on current form is a fair price. This may be the Blues’ toughest challenge so far. But with their quality, they offer some value on the Asian Handicap market, at half time and full time.

Conte inherited a quality squad that simply underperformed last season. He has added to the side with N’Golo Kante, Marco Alonso and Michy Batshuayi notable signings. Most of the headlines belong to David Luiz however, making his return to Stamford Bridge on deadline day.

This won’t be a walk in the park for Chelsea, but I expect them to keep their 100% record. They have led at half time in their last 2 outings and are 2.28 to do so again this Sunday.

I have two recommendations for this one. As well as backing the Blues -0.5 half time, I expect them to extend their lead by the final whistle.

Азиатский гандикап Recommendation: Chelsea -0.5 FH at 2.28 & Chelsea -0.75 at 1.88
