Premier League Asian Handicap Previews – Sunday 5th November

Manchester City v Arsenal

What a game this has the potential to be. Manchester City welcome Arsenal to the Emirates with revenge on their mind. Arsene Wenger’s men have gotten the better of Guardiola’s City on the last two meetings; a 3-0 win in the Community Shield and a 2-1 win in last year’s FA Cup semi-final.

This game is different, though. Whilst Arsenal have generally been in good form of late, ignoring the poor 0-0 draw in the Europa League this week, Manchester City is looking deadly. The likes of Leroy Sane, Raheem Sterling, Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero are doing the business up top for City and I’d be surprised if Arsenal’s sometimes questionable defense can handle the power they possess.

Arsenal will have to do without the likes of Danny Welbeck and Shkodran Mustafi, as well as long-term absentee Santi Cazorla, but wantaway star Alexis Sanchez, who almost joined City in the summer, is available, giving Arsene Wenger a glimmer of hope.

Chelsea v Manchester United

Completing a superb double-header on Sunday is the return of Jose Mourinho to Stamford Bridge.

After storming the Premier League title last year, Antonio Conte will be disappointed with how his team has performed so far this year. The Blues currently sit 9 points behind pack leaders Manchester City and the visit of the club’s former Special One couldn’t have come at a worse time, following the humiliating 3-0 defeat in Rome in midweek.

Conte will know that Mourinho will go to Stamford Bridge looking to frustrate the Champions. It’s what he does best and has shown that this season in games against Liverpool and Tottenham.

For the United boss, revenge will be sweet on his mind. Not only will he want to show the club what they’re missing, but he’ll want to right the wrongs of last season’s 4-0 loss.

When Mourinho wants something, he usually gets it. Expect his United side to do anything to win here.
