Allsvenskan Asian Handicap Previews – Wednesday 20th September

ÖSTERSUND v MALMÖ

This could be a great battle. Östersund is in the Europa League and won the first game in the group. Now they really want to show Malmö that they will be challenging for the title next year.

Östersund has one week until they play in the Europa League again and will most probably play with their best team here. Star player Saman Ghoddos has been talking to the media and said that Östersund really wants to show Malmö that they are the best team in Sweden.

Malmö performed very good in the last round and did break the bad trend of results. 4-0 against Hammarby was a statement, but now they will have to play without their two best players. Both Rosenberg and Christiansen are suspended here.

Rosenberg and Christiansen are suspended. Central defender Rasmus Bengtsson doesn’t like to play on artificial turf because of his injury. To this, we can also add a very long trip and a highly motivated Östersund. If a motivated Östersund can beat PAOK and Galatasaray at home – they sure can beat Malmö as well.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Östersund DNB at 1.952

ÖREBRO v AFC UNITED

Probably not the most exciting game this round but I can find some value here. Örebro has a new coach and started with a win against Malmö. Now they face the rock bottom AFC at home and should be able to bounce back.

Örebro will miss Johan Mårtensson on the central midfield, that is a big loss. But I like the starting eleven Örebro will put on the field here. Last round should be a wake-up call for Örebro and at home, against AFC they should have a good chance.

AFC is eight points behind J Södra on the playoff-position. Eight points with seven games to go? That should be too much and the players in AFC knows this. Especially since they lost the important game against GIF Sundsvall last round.

Örebro has a better team. Örebro plays at home. Örebro should be motivated after the loss against Djurgården. AFC will be relegated. AFC doesn’t have quality enough. For me, this is motivation enough to put a bet on the home side.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Örebro -0.5 at 1.740

GIF SUNDSVALL v AIK

GIF Sundsvall took three massive points last round against AFC away. Now they have five points down to the playoff-spot and gave themselves some necessary space. AIK? They smashed Halmstad last round and could have won with much bigger numbers than 4-1.

There are some major concerns in GIF Sundsvall. Goalkeeper Naurin and key defender Danielson are both doubts here. Gall and Sonko-Sundberg are suspended and with a decimated squad, GIF Sundsvall will be in trouble here.

AIK can face almost the same lineup as last round here. Captain Nils-Eric Johansson in suspended but will be replaced by Jesper Nyholm here. Otherwise, AIK can put the same team on the field – and also add Chinedu Obasi to the squad.

AIK is really good on artificial turf and when we add the big difference in quality between these two teams and also the missing players in GIF Sundsvall – this could be a walk in the park for the guests who should be motivated here. AIK needs to win to be top3.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: AIK -0.75 at 1.780
