Allsvenskan Asian Handicap Previews – 2nd September Sunday

Hammarby v Djurgården

What a game! For the first time in 17 years, Hammarby is the big favorite in this derby. Normally the last couple of years the odds are quite equal, but this time Hammarby is the better team.

It should be the same lineup as last game for Hammarby, with the summer signing Rodic who looks better and better. Important for Hammarby was that Jiloan Hamad and Nikola Djurdjic scored again – that should give confidence to the key players.

Djurgården has four straight games in Allsvenskan without a win. If we add Europa League, we have six games in a row without a win. Last round they managed to come back after 0-2 at home against Elfsborg and grab a point.

If we look at the history, this derby always gives you goals. 7 of the 8 last games between these two has gone over 2,5 goals and I have no reason to question it this time. Hammarby will attack, that’s what they always do and that’s what put them second in the table. Djurgården can be dangerous at the counters and at set pieces.

Asian Total Goals Betting Recommendation: Over 2.50 goals at 1.850

GIF Sundsvall v Sirius

I really don’t understand why the odds are this high at GIF Sundsvall. Hasn’t the bookies learned that GIF Sundsvall really is a good team? I don’t know, but I do expect a game where GIF Sundsvall dominates possession and creates chances.

The home side should be filled with confidence after they turned 0-1 to 2-1 in the Northern Derby against Östersund. Two late goals always give you energy to the next round. No injury concerns and no suspensions,

Sirius has lost 2-3 and 0-5 in the last two rounds and even if they stepped up after the World Cup break it looks like they are back to loosing again. There still are some injury concerns for the team and captain Jesper Arvidsson is suspended.

GIF Sundsvall is a better team than Sirius, that’s the main factor here. With Arvidsson suspended for Sirius and eight goals conceded in the last two games I really have no reason to doubt this bet at all.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: GIF Sundsvall -0.50 at 1.775

Dalkurd v IFK Göteborg

This is a tricky game in the bottom of the league. Both teams come from losses in the last round and both teams played against title candidates. Anyway, I think we will see quite a tactical game between these two sides.

Dalkurd had some tough days before this. Sure, they lost against Hammarby but also the misconduct from Suljevic that gave a lot of negative articles. And also, we must question the quality in the team after losing Sugita and Turay.

IFK Göteborg played a pretty good game against IFK Norrköping and had the lead at 90 minutes – but lost. I expect more focus here, especially when key player Calisir is back from suspension.

To be honest, IFK Göteborg really should be a better team than Dalkurd and here they have a great chance to avoid the real relegation battle. I also think the artificial turf will fit IFK Göteborg quite well. The loss and the negative articles shouldn’t give Dalkurd any good motivation ahead of this game either.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: IFK Göteborg DNB at 1.819
