Sirius v Djurgarden
Sirius will play Djurgarden at home on Saturday in their next game, hoping they can build on their most recent result a 2-0 win against Orebro. Djurgarden will have plenty of confidence coming into this game, winning their last 3 games on the bounce. They have managed to score 8 goals in 3 games winning 3-1, 2-0 and 3-0.
Djurgarden are quite a tricky team when it comes formation, they have used a few different types of systems so far this season. Some of them being 3-4-3, 5-3-1 & 4-1-4-1, but what they do consistently is make use of wide attacking players especially when playing 3-4-3. The front three would typically consist of Buya Turay,Ring & Radetinac. All of these players have scored so far season, Buya Turay being the leading scorer for the team with 4 goals and Ring coming in second with 3 goals.
Sirius have struggled to find some consistent form but overall haven’t played bad football, in their previous 5 games they have managed to net 8 goals and conceded 10 goals. Two of those games were defeats against good teams, Goteborg where they lost 4-2 and Hacken where they lost 4-3.
Goals look to be a common theme here and with Djurgarden in good form looking for a win and Sirius proven so far this season they can net goals against good opposition I can’t see any reasons to put me off the over 2.5 goal line.
Djurgarden are favourites to land the win, priced at 1.74 with Sirius priced at 4.98 and the draw is currently around 3.82.
The goal line is set at 2.5 goals, I think this is a solid line – one the books may have underestimated. Certainly, one we will look to take advantage of, the current price for over 2.5 goals is at 1.87 indicating a 53.47% probability of the outcome occurring. For me this looks a solid bet, both teams are in decent form in front of goal and both teams adopt a similar formation in 3-4-3 meaning plenty of space in behind should one team give away possession.
Asian Total Goals Betting Recommendation: Over 2.50 goals at 1.870
Elfsborg v Hacken
Elfsborg are set to take on Hacken at home in their next game, coming into the game as favourites which has taken me by surprise but I’m not complaining. Elfsborg are another team in the Allsvenskan who have patchy form, struggle to put together a consistent run of wins and are a hard team to read. Hacken on the other hand have a solid start to the season, only losing once in their previous 5 games which was at home to Goteborg. Goteborg currently sitting in 2nd position in the league so its not bad form at all.
Jeremejeff has had a great season so far scoring 5 goals and averaging 2.76 shots per game with 40.63% of those on target. Jeremejeff is also leading the expected goals table with 6.42 meaning he could have potentially scored more than 5 goals. Paulinho is another player who features high in the expected goals league table with 5.46 expected goals scoring 5.
Elfsborg are currently averaging 1.45 goals per 90 minutes so far this season and Hacken are averaging 1.55 goals per 90 minutes so far this season meaning this could be a closely fought contest. Elfsborg are likely to line up with a 4-3-3 formation against Hacken. Their opponents Hacken are likely to use their normal 4-2-3-1 formation making it hard for Elfsborg to break them down. Hacken will be looking to control the game and use the extra men they have in midfield to create problems.
With the likes of Paulinho and Jeremejeff at their disposal, they are likely to get a few chances to convert and I would expect them to do so.
Elfsborg are slight favourites to land the win, priced at 2.50 with Hacken priced at 2.93 and the draw is currently around 3.40. Looking at the form id say Hacken are currently in better form and are the better side so with the price being at 2.93 we can look to the Asian handicap market to give us some cover with this selection. The line I’m looking at is Hacken 0 AH which is currently priced at 2.11, in my eyes it’s a steal I think its going to be a close match but if anyone is to win it will be Hacken.
Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Hacken DNB at 2.110
Helsingborg v Malmo
Malmo travel to Helsingborg for their next away game and come into the game as league leaders, in fine form also. Malmo have picked up the pace recently winning 4 from 5 games only drawing 0-0 against a stubborn Goteborg. Helsingborg are in a slightly different kind of form, struggling to get a win but not struggling to land some points in the way of draws. Helsingborg have drawn 3 from 5 games all being 1-1 and lost 2 games.
Malmo showed some true grit and determination in their recent game, going 1-0 down to Sundsvall and managing to overturn the deficit and land a 2-1 win. Malmo’s attacking options are scary, with Rosenberg, Antonsson, Christiansen & even their left wing back Rieks has even scored 4 goals so far this season.
Helsingborg are averaging 1.09 goals per 90 minutes so far this season and on average concede 1.64 goals per 90 minutes. Malmo on the other hand are averaging 2.00 goals per 90 minutes so far this season and only conceding 0.75 goals per 90 minutes. Malmo generally play a 3-5-2 formation using wing backs to push on and stretch their opponents allowing the creative players in the middle to do their job and provide the strikers with plenty of the ball.
Helsingborg are likely to try and frustrate Malmo with their 4-2-3-1 formation looking to absorb pressure and look to break when they get the chance. I think Malmo are just too good at the moment for Helsingborg and their attacking movement will cause chaos for them at the back.
Malmo come into the game as favourites to land the win, priced at 1.69 with Helsingborg priced at 5.52 and the draw is currently around 3.82. Just looking at the market, it is strongly suggesting a Malmo win. I think with Malmo’s recent scoring form we should explore the -0.75 Asian line currently priced at 1.92. It’s a good solid price for a game I think Malmo win comfortably.
Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Malmo -0.75 at 1.920
