Allsvenskan Asian Handicap Previews – Saturday 13th August

Tricky round of Allsvenskan is coming up. The teams in Sweden are not allowed to sign any new players, but they can still loose players abroad. Don’t ask my why, but this makes it hard to predict the starting lineups. The last round was a good round for me with 3 Asian Handicap wins out of 3!

AIK did a good game against Malmö and deserved more than a 2-0 loss. Now they really need to win to still be in the race towards the title. Helsingborg is in bad shape here but have made some new signings.

AIK has central defender Per Karlsson suspended and attacker Chinedu Obasi as a doubt. Otherwise it’s a full squad for coach Norling who should rotate the lineup again. Helsingborg has a lot of injuries. Eleven players could be missing the trip to the capital and with a heavy defeat in the luggage, things aren’t looking good for Helsingborg.

No more Europe for AIK, but that should mean fresher legs. AIK are strong at home and I don’t see them losing this against a weak Helsingborg team. I think we can get some goals from the homeside here.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: AIK -1 at 1.85

Tricky game. A lot of things have happened in both of the squads during the summer. Both teams manage the artifical grass well and both teams need to win here. This could give us an interesting game.

Djurgården has signed four new players and changed coach during the summer. Former national goalkeeper Andreas Isaksson make his comeback here. Two important players are out in the defense though.

Elfsborg signed Daniel Gustavsson from Örebro and he should replace the suspended Simon Hedlund in this game. Otherwise it’s a pretty normal line up from Elfsborg here.

Djurgården are still under pressure, even though they won in the last round. This should mean that they will push forward. Elfsborg is strong when they counter attack and that should fit them well here.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Elfsborg +/-0 (DNB) at 2.55

Malmö are in great shape after an important win against AIK last round and the guests must win this one to get back at the top of the table. Kalmar has a lot of ups and downs and must find the right level to win here.

The biggest doubt in Kalmar is Rasmus Elm. If he plays, the homeside has a good chance. If he doesn’t play, Kalmar should be happy with a point.

Malmö has their most important defender Kari Arnason suspended, but the rest of the squad is looking solid. A massive win last round against AIK, should give them some confidence.

Malmö had a weak performance at home against Kalmar and only managed a 1-1 draw. I think we will see a motivated guest here that really wants to win. When Malmö is motivated, few teams can manage to keep up.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Malmö -0.5 at 2.10
