Swansea v Man City Asian Handicap Betting Preview – Sunday 15th May by @SC457

KSwansea v Man City – Liberty Stadium at 15:00 live on Sky Sports 2

It’s been an unforgettable season in the Premier League, but one the Citizen’s will want to forget. The second favourties for this years title go into the last day of the season battling for a place in the Champions League after an inconsistent campaign.

They travel to Wales on Sunday to face an improving Swansea side who have been transformed since the arrival of Francesco Guidolin. After sacking manager Garry Monk, who left them close to the bottom 3, with a relegation battle on their hands, the Swans secured another year in the top flight some time ago and could even finish in the top half.

Man City have more at stake here, but as in so many occasions on the last day of the season, the team with more to play for has been priced up far to short in my opinion. Yes City need a result to book a place in next years Champions League, but with Swansea winning their last 4 league games at the Liberty, it’s not going to be an east task for the Citizens.

City’s campaign has been plagued by inconsistency, especially on the road, picking up just 4 wins in their last 15 away days. They’ve also managed just 1.28 goals per game away from home, just above the league average of 1.22, not good enough for a team that should be challenging for the title.

They may find it difficult to score against the Swans this weekend, with the hosts conceding just once in their last 4 home matches.

Swansea have won 6 of their last 10 matches in the league, including back to back wins from their last two against Liverpool (3-1) and West Ham (4-1) and they look good to me for a goal this Sunday.

The hosts will make this difficult for Man City, but the visitors only need a draw due to their superior goal advantage over Utd to finish in the top 4. With the Red Devils drawing against West Ham on Tuesday night, it’s back in the Citizens hands and I don’t see them messing it up from here.

That said, they are priced to short at 1.50 with there inconsistent away record and Swansea offer some value on the Asian Handicap betting market +1.25 at 1.85.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Swansea +1.25 at 1.85
