Superliga Asian Handicap Betting Preview – Sunday 13th March by @ChrisOgle2

Brondby v Randers & Copenhagen v Aalborg

More Superliga action again this Sunday from Denmark, with a couple of strongly trend based bets to get your teeth stuck into. First up is Brondby at home to Randers for a 3pm kick off.

The most striking thing about watching both of these teams play last week was just how out of sync they appeared to be with an incredible amount of through balls, one two’s, and passing movements all falling apart like they had never played with each other before.

Especially striking was how poor Randers were against Esbjerg. They were unable to mount a single effort, either on or off target, until well into the second half and were deserved loses against relegation candidates Esbjerg.

With both teams looking rusty from the winter break, it seems hard to imagine where goals are coming from. Especially when you consider that Brondby’s home games have only clicked over 2.5 goals in 2 out of the last 12 occasions when against a team in the top half.

Under 2.25 goals is priced up at 1.72 so look to shave off a quarter goal and go for under 2.25 goals at 2.04.

In the later game, Copenhagen host Aalborg at 5pm kick off UK time in a match that sees two of the best form teams in the league square off.

Aalborg have punched above their weight all throughout the first half of the season and are well set to finish higher than their 5th place spot from last year. They lost their first game in 8 when losing 1-0 at home to OB last week and unfortunately for them, look set for further pain this afternoon.

Copenhagen are currently the best team in Denmark and with Midtjylland faultering recently, look likely to lift the title in 2016. They can thank their home fans for making the Parken Stadium a tough trip for visitors.

Of the past 10 games against top half teams, Copenhagen have jumped out to a half time lead in 70% of the games with over 80% finishing with a home win.

As much as I respect what Aalborg have achieved this season, the winter break has definitely cost them half a step and can expect to be on the back foot for most of this game. Copenhagen for me look like they should be clear odds on favourites for the game so I was pleasantly surprised to see 1.8 available for Copenhagen.

Given the probabilities of Copenhagen dominating this game early, it looks significantly bigger than I was expecting, and has to be the selection.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Brondby vs Randers under 2.25 goals at 2.04

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Copenhagen -0.5 at 1.80
