Superliga Asian Handicap Betting Preview – Sunday 20th March by @ChrisOgle2

Randers v Viborg & Nordsjaelland v Copenhagen

There’s something odd about getting excited to write a preview about some of the cagiest teams in European football, but Denmark seems built for the under goals market when the conditions suit, and this weekend looks no exception. First up, is Randers vs Viborg.

I highlighted last week how ineffective Randers looked going forward and how good they are at the back. It’s getting to the point where for the most part they are able to retain posession for over 55% of the time at home, but their shots per game remains woefully low.

This creates a situation where the opposition only get chances few and far between, which makes them tough to beat, but they find it tough to score themselves.

It is so much so, that in 10 of the last 11 home games against teams from the middle third, it has remained under 2.5 goals. Believe it or not, over their last 5 games, the total goals registered at 1, 0, 2, 1 and 1 goals in the game. And as if that wasnt enough, Viborg have gone under 2.5 on 7 of their 10 away games as well.

This looks an absolutely automatic unders bet, and you would be better off going for the under 2.25 goals market. Kick off is at 1pm UK time.

Next up in the unders-fest is champions in the making Copenhagen, as they head to Nordsjaelland at 3pm UK time, in another likely dry game for goals.

Copenhagen are clearly the class team in the league, especially with the Midtjylland slip ups before the winter break handing them a decent advantage. They landed a special 6-2 victory against Aalborg last week but don’t let that put you off backing unders as their style changes completely on the road.

In going back over the past 19 games, only 7 of those away games have made it to 2 goals, with 5 games making it to at least 3. The men from the capital have still been effective in landing victories but nearly half of those games have gone in at half time 0-0.

Nordsjaelland will be tough to get through and Copenhagen are no certainties to grind them down with Nordsjaelland having won 6 form 8 home games against top 6 sides.

There is every possibility of a touch of stalemate and the under 2.25 market looks the obvious one to play at 2.00.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Randers v Viborg Under 2.25 Goals at 1.88

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Nordsjaelland v Copenhagen Under 2.25 Goals at 1.97
