Sacramento Kings at Miami Heat Handicap Betting Preview – Friday 20th November by @ChrisOgle2

Sacramento Kings at Miami Heat – American Airlines Arena at 00:30

Tonight at 12.30am, the Sacramento Kings (4-8) make the long journey east to face the Miami Heat (6-4) with a good looking bet on the cards.

Sacramento had got off to an ugly start sliding to 1-7 before a 3 game home winning streak last week got things back on track for them. This came to an end with a 6 point loss vs the Hawks earlier in the week.

Sacramento can thank most of their improved form on DeMarcus Cousins. Despite his disciplinary issues relating to Head Coach George Karl, Cousins has solely kept the Kings in games where they have been outmatched. Although paying respect to their little form surge, the Kings are basically terrible. Especially when having to leave California.

Still winless away from home this season, and extending for 2 months in the back end of last season, the Kings can be trusted to do nothing on the road. Against Wade, Whiteside and the Heat, tonight should be no different.

In little over a year, 2014 Miami Heat rookie Hassan Whiteside has gone from nobody to one of the most feared shot blockers in the NBA. An incredible 46 blocks in 10 games so far this season has made him an invaluable tool to the Heat Defence, and been a huge contributory factor to their winning start.

The big talking point in tonight’s fixture is this match-up of Sacramento top scorer DeMarcus Cousins against the new boy Whiteside. One thing is for absolute certain. Even if Whiteside can’t stop Cousins entirely, he will certainly slow him down.
This equals trouble for the Kings.

The Heat, despite form issues of superstar Dwayne Wade will still more than a match for most teams at home in 2015. The problems that besieged them in 2014 are over, and a playoff run looks likely.

The Kings hate going to Miami, with a record of 3-24 in the last 27 matchups. The Heat can be backed -8 at 1.95, and if the main match up goes as expected, this won’t be close. Back the Heat to win easily.

Handicap Betting Recommendation: Miami Heat -8 at 2.04
