Tottenham v West Brom – White Hart Lane at 12:30 live on Sky Sports 1
My latest Азиатская фора preview focuses on the Premier League clash between Spurs and West Brom in Saturday’s lunch-time fixture.
Spurs are odds on to win the game, but I think the value is on the unders market as West Brom have coped well with top 4 opponents of late.
Spurs have won their last 6 matches across all competitions and are looking to pick up their 6th consecutive league win on Saturday.
Pochettino’s men are in great form and have staked their claim for the title, after their convincing 2-0 win over league leaders Chelsea in their last league game.
Tottenham are now 3rd in the Premier League, 7 points behind The Blues.
At home, Spurs have proved tough to beat and are undefeated in their last 10 Premier League matches at White Hart Lane.
They’re now 1 of just 2 teams defending an unbeaten record at home in the top flight.
The Lilywhites have scored in all of their home league matches this season and I’m expecting them to do so again against The Baggies.
Dele Alli has scored 7 goals in his last 5 games and he’ll be the one to watch.
West Brom are having a great season under Tony Pulis and are currently 8th in the Premier League table.
Unlike previous seasons, West Brom are defending well but also scoring goals, especially at home.
Salomon Rondon and Matty Phillips have been great in attack, with the former scoring 7 league goals so far this season.
Away from home, West Brom haven’t looked as convincing however and they’ve conceded in all of their away games this campaign, whilst only managing to score 9 goals.
West Brom had a break from league action last weekend and were disappointingly knocked out of the FA Cup by Championship side Derby (2-1).
They have won back to back games in the Premier League however and last beat Hull City 3-1.
Asian Handicap and Total Goals
In the reverse fixture back in October, the game finished 1-1 at The Hawthorns.
Spurs are as short as 1.30 to win Saturday’s game and although I think they will come out on top, I don’t make their -1.5 Asian Handicap line at just under evens value.
West Brom have frustrated both Chelsea (1-0) and Arsenal (1-0) recently and although they lost both matches, they kept opposition goals to a minimum.
Only 40% of Spurs’ home matches have seen over 2.5 goals, primarily because they’ve managed to keep 6 clean sheets at home this season.
Taking all this into account, I think there is better value on the unders market and I recommend backing under 2.75 goals at 1.89.
Asian Handicap Recommendation: Under 2.75 goals at 1.89
