Tottenham v Chelsea Asian Handicap Preview – Wednesday 4th January by @tashason21

Tottenham v Chelsea – White Hart Lane at 20:00 live on Sky Sports 1

My latest Азиатская фора preview focuses on the London Derby between Tottenham and Chelsea.

A win for Spurs would see them climb back into the Champions League places, whilst defeat for Chelsea would give Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal’s title hopes a boost.

Tottenham

Spurs are currently just outside the top 4, but a win against Chelsea would move them to within 7 points of the league leaders.

In their last Premier League game, Tottenham thrashed Watford 4-1 and Harry Kane and Dele Alli each scored a brace.

Kane has now scored 10 Premier League goals, including 3 in his last 2 appearances and Alli has scored 5 goals in his last 3 games.

The home side are in great form and have now won their last 4 Premier League matches.

The Lilywhites have lost just twice in 19 league games this campaign, although one of those defeats was a 2-1 defeat at Stamford Bridge.

The other loss came against Manchester United at Old Trafford (1-0).

Spurs are unbeaten at White Hart Lane this season and have only conceded 14 goals.

They have looked solid defensively and will be boosted by the return of Kyle Walker and Jan Vertonghen from suspension.

Chelsea

Chelsea could make history on Wednesday, as another victory would extend their Premier League winning run to 14 matches. No team has ever won 14 consecutive Premier League games in a single season.

Although Stoke gave Chelsea a tough game last time round, The Blues came out on top, winning 4-2.

Chelsea may have the best defensive record in the league, but Stoke managed to find the net twice, which will give Spurs some confidence.

Diego Costa scored his 14th Premier League goal of the season and the Spaniard has scored in each of his last 2 Premier League games.

Away from home, Chelsea have scored in 89% of their matches and have also won their last 6 games on the road.

68% of Chelsea’s matches have featured over 2.5 goals scored in total and therefore it’s worth taking a look at the overs market.

Asian Handicap and Total Goals

Spurs are the slight favourites to win the match, despite Chelsea’s rampant form.

Backing Chelsea Draw No Bet at just over evens therefore looks to be worth a punt, as The Blues have shown no sign of slowing down!

The over/under market is split, with over 2.5 goals being the slight outsider at 2.00.

There may be 2 great defences on show, but 8 of the last 11 meetings between the 2 sides have featured 3 goals or more, including 4 of the last 6.

As Spurs have scored in all of their home matches this campaign and Chelsea have scored in 89% of their away games, I also make over 2.5 goals at over even money value.

Asian Handicap Recommendation: Chelsea +/-0 (Draw No Bet) at 2.04 and Over 2.5 goals at 2.10
