Superliga Asian Handicap Betting Preview – Fri 5th/Mon 8th August by @dkbet_tipstrr

The fourth round of the Danish Superliga has more interesting betting opportunities to offer, after a midweek with big success for all the four Danish teams competing in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League Qualification. FC Copenhagen will be in the draw for the Champions League while FC Midtjylland, Brøndby and SønderjyskE are in the pot of the Europa League draw.

Silkeborg v Lyngby

Two of the three promoted teams will play for three points in the late match on Friday night.

Silkeborg are still waiting to get the first ball in the net after being promoted to the Superliga. In the match last week against local rivals FC Midtjylland Nicolaj Agger missed a penalty in the 0-3 defeat. Offensive midfielder Robert Skov has joined the Olympic team in Brazil and will be out during the competition.

Lyngby have started their Superliga campaign a lot better with four points and a 1-0 away win against SønderjyskE. The team has a lot of talented players with a lot of experience from other clubs on the highest level in Denmark. Offensive midfielder Emil Larsen is also with the Olympic team in Brazil and not play during the competition.

Last season Lyngby won two of the three matches they played against Silkeborg and lost one. This season the Lyngby squad has got even better and to be fair – Silkeborg is more or less status quo. Especially in offense Lyngby have more power and I it will be very difficult for Silkeborg to keep a clean sheet in this match. When comparing the quality of the two teams I see a good value bet in Lyngby AH 0. There is a chance it might end with a draw but the home win is in my opinion overrated.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Lyngby +0 at 1.86

Esbjerg v Aarhus

It has been an awful start for Esbjerg this season with three losses and a total score of 1-10. Last season Esbjerg got coach Jonas Dahl from Hobro around new year but he was sacked again just a few weeks before the start of this season. The man in charge now is Colin Todd who was formerly in Randers with great success.

In Aarhus things are different as they are flying high on good vibrations and results. Coach Glenn Riddersholm has trimmed the squad and changed on a lot of positions to get the exact right players for his game plan. With two wins and one loss Aarhus will be glad of the six points and expect to get another three against Esbjerg

Aarhus will be without regular starting defensive midfielder Jens Jønsson as he is in the Olympic squad. The same goes for Esbjerg keeper Jeppe Højbjerg and wing Casper Nielsen. This will be a big blow for Esbjerg expecting Jonas Jensen to take over from Højbjerg.

Morten “Duncan” Rasmussen and Alexander Juul-Andersen are out with injuries for Aarhus and Esbjerg are without Jesper Lauridsen. I expect Aarhus to control this match and with more than even money on AH -0.25 there is a strong value bet here. This price will most likely be around 1.90 or lower at kick off.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Aarhus -0.25 at 2.07
