Man City v Leicester Asian Handicap Betting Preview – Saturday 6th February by @SC457

Man City v Leicester – Etihad Stadium at 12:45 live on BT Sport 1

Saturday’s lunchtime Premier League kick-off is a top of the table clash as title rivals Man City and Leicester go head to head at the Etihad Stadium.

The Foxes can go 6 points clear of their closest challengers with a win but the Citizens are unbeaten in 7 league matches and have only suffered 2 reverses at home all season. It’s sure to be an entertaining match and there is some value to be had on the Asian Handicap betting market.

The hosts are really starting to hit top gear now and sit just 3 points behind their opponents in 2nd place and will go top with a win. They are still fighting for trophies on 4 fronts and there is a feel good factor around the club since it was announced Pep Guardiola will be taking over in the summer, maybe not for Pellegrini!

Sergio Aguero is looking sharp and amongst the goals, scoring the winner last time out against Sunderland and their defence is becoming stronger all the time with 4 clean sheets in their last 6 league games.

From their 12 home matches this term, they have won 9, winning 7 of those by 2 goals or more and the Asian Handicap betting line is -1 for Saturday. They average 2.75 goals per game and concede an average of 1 at home this season and I make them a good value bet this weekend.

Leicester continue to surprise everyone week in week out and went 3 points clear at the top of the table after their 2-0 win against Liverpool on Tuesday night. Jamie Vardy was on the score sheet twice, including a superb long range half volley, (see it here) which takes his total to 18 league goals so far this campaign.

The Foxes attacking style of football has seen them score 44 goals this season and more have come on the road than at the King Power stadium. It was surprising that their previous encounter just over 5 weeks ago ended goalless but I don’t expect the same this Saturday.

Unsurprisingly, Over 2.5 goals is a short 1.66 and although I expect their to be goals, it’s a market I’m going to stay away from.

I’m with the hosts to cover their Asian Handicap due to their recent and home form throughout the season. When they need to, Man City can turn it on, especially with their best players really starting to hit some form.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Man City -1 at 2.07
