The 25-year-old goalkeeper is a native Brazil player born in Novo Hamburgo in October 2, 1992 and started playing football as early as ten. His football career begun when he joined Internacional Academy based in Rio Grande Do Su in 2002 as one of the teen footballers who played for the multi-sports clubs Under 23 players. Ten years later in 2013 Becker debuted his senior football exposure when he led the team on a 1-1 away draw opposing Cruzeiro RS in the Campeonato Gaucho league. All in all, he made 100 appearances for the team, playing both for Serie A and Primeira Liga.

Alisson is notably recognized for his quick goal blocks by primarily using his hands. He also appeared in the Serie A 2017-18 opening campaign with a kick-start win against Atlanta with 1-0 win. He was praised for his consistent intense gameplay throughout the season.

In early 2018 there were rumors going around that Becker may allegedly sign up with Liverpool as a potential new team and were under negotiation for a contract of up to  £50 million to £80 million deal.
