Eastbridge Betting Review – Monday 24th November
Arsenal v Man Utd
Arsenal’s defeat at the hands of Man Utd on Saturday means that this is their worst ever start in the Premier League scoring just 17 points from their first 12 matches. Wayne Rooney scored again to keep up his impressive record against Arsenal and has now scored against the Gunners more than any other Premier League player. The Eastbridge advised trade was to back an Arsenal win, but due to their poor finishing and being caught on the counter attack, this is one trade to forget.
Crystal Palace v Liverpool
Liverpool slumped to their third successive defeat losing 3-1 to Crystal Palace and have not won in 6 as pressure is mounting on Brendan Rogers. Rickie Lambert was given a chance with Sturridge and Balotelli injured and couldn’t have started any better, scoring within 2 minutes. But it was Dwight Gayle, who once again haunted Liverpool scoring his fourth goal in three matches against the Reds as Palace fought back to record a much needed victory. Over 2.5 goals @ 2.05 was the bet here and was never in doubt.
Hull City v Tottenham Hotspur
With Tottenham coming from behind to beat 10-man Hull 2-1, our tip to back Spurs to win came in @ 2.22. It wasn’t all plain sailing however as Hull’s high pressing caused Spurs a lot of problems in the first half and Hull went into the break 1-0 up after Jake Livermore’s 25 yard strike. With Gaston Ramirez getting sent off just after half time, Spurs took full advantage of the extra man with Harry Kane levelling and Eriksen scoring late on to earn Tottenham all 3 points.
AC Milan v Inter
The Milan derby finished with both teams coming away with a point each as AC Milan drew with Inter 1-1. Roberto’s Mancini’s second spell in charge of Inter started badly as Jeremy Menez put Filippo Inzaghi’s AC in front. We advised a trade here of AC Milan +0 with a low scoring and tight game expected but Inter battled fiercely and equalised through Obi after 61 minutes. Backing AC Milan +0 ended in a push.
