Sevilla v Leicester Asian Handicap Preview – Wednesday 22nd February by @tashason21

Sevilla v Leicester – Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium at 19:45 live on BT Sport 2

Leicester may be fighting a relegation battle, but on Wednesday they take on Sevilla, which is the focus of my latest Asian Handicap preview.

The Foxes have been in terrible form and as a result, I’m backing Sevilla to win comfortably.

Sevilla

Sevilla are no strangers to European success and will prove tough to beat, as they’ve won the Europa League for the last 3 years running.

Last weekend, they improved their home record in the Spanish league to 9 wins from 11 games, after their 2-0 win against Eibar.

Jorge Sampaoli’s side have only conceded 11 goals in those games and managed to keep 5 clean sheets in their 6 Champions league matches. Sevilla qualified from Group H in 2nd place, behind Juventus.

The home side have already had some big results this season, including wins over Real Madrid (2-1) and Atletico Madrid (1-0) back in October.

They’re currently 3rd in La Liga, 3 points off league leaders Real Madrid and are seeking a first quarter-final appearance in the Champions League.

Leicester

The Foxes are having a dreadful season and things only got worse last weekend when they were knocked out of the FA Cup in the 5th round against Millwall (1-0).

Leicester have lost their last 5 Premier League games and remain the only side across the top 4 divisions yet to score a single league goal in 2017.

In their last Premier League fixture, Leicester suffered a 2-0 loss away at fellow Premier League strugglers Swansea and they are now very much embroiled in a relegation battle.

Ranieri’s men are 17th in the Premier League table, just 1 point off the relegation places.

The home side have conceded 12 goals in their last 5 league games and look a totally different defensive outlet compared to last season.

In the Champions League however, Leicester managed to top Group G, only losing away to Porto.

All things considered, this is still very much new territory for Leicester and taking into account their current form, I can only see them struggling in Seville.

Asian Handicap Prices

At home, Sevilla are 7 games undefeated across all competitions and therefore the odds are very much against Leicester.

Sevilla are as short as 1.42 to get the victory and the home side look worth backing -1.25 on the Asian Handicap market at 1.85.

Asian Handicap Recommendation: Sevilla -1.25 @ 1.85
