Premier League Match Previews – 3rd November Saturday

Arsenal v Liverpool

Arsenal saw their eleven match-winning streaks come to an end during their match against Crystal Palace on Sunday with a passive display. However, their Premier League title record will be given another assessment when they welcome Liverpool to the Emirates Stadium on Saturday. The Gunners have definitely come along way under new coach Unai Emery in such as short span of time, though they did struggle in their first few matches of the season against Manchester City and Chelsea. Their face-off against top-ranked side Liverpool will provide a reflection just how far they have improved.

Meanwhile, Liverpool continued their stellar start to the season last weekend with an impressive 4-1 success against Cardiff City, which means they remained at the top of the table and equalled their outstanding form in the Premier League, having a record of 26 points in 10 league games. The Reds have a record of more than 80% possession in the match and bid a total of 819 passes in the game which shows how much of a dominant display it was from Jurgen Klopp’s team.

Liverpool top striker Mo Salah is also back which is a disadvantage for Arsenal since the Egyptian striker is starting to reach the sort of form we have come to expect following his outstanding performance from last season’s Premier League. Jurgen Klopp’s side is expected to stick to their attacking style of play, but considering Unai Emery’s men are running on a four match-winning run at home in the English top flight, the match between these two teams will certainly be thrilling.

Bournemouth v Manchester United

Vitality Stadium will be hosting Saturday’s football fixture between Bournemouth and Manchester United. The Cherries have been playing in a remarkable form in the 2018-19 campaign, currently sitting on the top half of the rankings prior to Matchday 11. Bournemouth was able to overpower Fulham in a 3-0 win in their last league fixture and are definitely capable of dominating the Red Devils in front of home fans. Meanwhile, Manchester United are determined to stay in the race for the title and are seeking to secure back-to-back victories in the Premier League for the second time this season against the free-scoring Bournemouth.

Josh King has been suffering an ankle problem that left him sidelined during Saturday’s win against Fulham and Tuesday’s EFL Cup match against Norwich City. It is not yet confirmed if he will be playing for Saturday’s clash against United since the striker is still scheduled to be evaluated later on in the week. In the meantime, Marouane Fellaini is expected to be in contention once again after missing the match with Chelsea, Juventus, and Everton following his injury. Furthermore, Antonio Valencia has also been an absentee from the starting XI with United after suffering an injury on his mouth that prevented him from playing.

Jose Mourinho’s side showed a much improved performance in their victory against Everton, and their victory only propelled them to eighth, still separating them with league leaders Liverpool by nine points. Furthermore, it should be expected that the Red Devils are going to adopt an attack-minded approach in their duel against the Cherries. Considering that both sides have the ability to score goals and given their thrilling form this season, this match should be a rousing one.

West Ham United v Burnley

West Ham United was on the verge of defeating Leicester city at the King Power Stadium in their last league fixture, however, the two sides eventually shared the spoils as the Foxes netted a late equaliser. The Hammers were at a disadvantage since they were without key attacker Marko Arnautovic. However, he should be able to recover in time for their duel against Burnley on Matchday 11 this Saturday, November 3.

West Ham’s recent performance has hit new lows with the team suffering from some tremendously poor away losses. However, they didn’t take into heart their defeats and instead are eager to climb to the top half of the rankings while also adopting an attack-minded approach in Saturday’s face-off with Burnley.  For the time being, the Clarets are not particularly enjoying this season and seeing that they are not regarded as impressive in their away fixtures, it should be expected that the hosts are the ones going to come out triumphant in the London Stadium battle.\

Although Burnley seems to have the upperhand against West Ham following their previous meeting in the English capital, Burnley was able to outshine West Ham United in a 3-0 victory. However, this could mean that the Hammers could be quite hungry for retaliation. West Ham top striker Javier Hernandez or Chicharito returns to the starting line up just in time for their clash against Burnley on Saturday. Being the second highest goal scorer of all-time for the Mexican national team, the Clarets should expect this striker to give his all for West Ham.

Who among these two sides will come out victorious? Catch their Matchday 11 fixture on Saturday, November 3, at the London Stadium, 15:00 GMT.

Wolves v Tottenham

Wolverhampton Wanderers and Tottenham Hotspur will face each other at the Molineux Stadium in what is anticipated to be one of the most entertaining league fixtures on Saturday in the Premier League. The Wolves appear to be enjoying this season’s Premier League so far since before the international break, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team had been defeated just once in their first eight matches, currently sitting on the seventh place at the table. However, they’ve been ousted with back-to-back losses against Watford and Brighton.

Wolverhampton are definitely aiming to make amends for their back-to-back defeats and will surely play their hearts out in the clash against the Spurs. They have been stressed out in front of the goal as of present, with the team not being able to score in their last two league fixtures, which means a home win should not be considered for this match.

On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur are determined to stay in the race for the Premier League title and will surely going to go all guns raging at the new arrivals. The Spurs’ Harry Kane will surely pose a dangerous threat for the opposition along with another important player, Dele Alli, who has recently recovered from injury. However, Wolves top forward Raul Jimenez will be present in the competition so fans should expect this match to be a suspenseful one.
