Premier League Asian Handicap Previews – Saturday 28th October

Manchester United v Tottenham

What a game this has the potential to be. Both teams have been on fire so far this season and currently second and third place respectively.

For Tottenham, confidence will be high. After earning a 1-1 draw away to Real Madrid, Mauricio Pochettino’s side blew Liverpool out of the water at Wembley in a performance which really made the rest of the Premier League stand up and take notice.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho, who will be pleased with the way his side bounced back in midweek against Swansea after the defeat to Huddersfield, will be hoping his side can perform better than their North West rivals.

This game could come down to how each side’s star striker performs. Both Harry Kane and Romelu Lukaku have been in the goals this year and either could win it for their side.

Liverpool v Huddersfield Town

The narrative of this tie has multiple strands, either of which could take center stage at Anfield on Sunday.

For Jurgen Klopp, his Liverpool side has disappointed so far this season and the thrashing at the hands of Tottenham has got plenty of fans questioning the German’s leadership. Whilst I personally think that’s insane, Klopp will know his side need to improve, starting with Saturday’s game.

The game sees Klopp take on his best friend, and best man, for the first time. David Wagner, who rejected Klopp’s offer to follow him to Liverpool in order to take the reigns at Huddersfield, has impressed massively this year. Last week’s defeat of Manchester United proved to any doubters that Huddersfield, and Wagner, can hack it with the big boys.

Klopp will be worried that the man that knows him better than most will prove it again against his struggling Liverpool side.
