Liverpool v Stoke
Liverpool is Europe’s most exciting side right now, as demonstrated by their 5-2 first leg victory over AS Roma in the semi-finals of the Champions League. It was an emphatic victory, with the front three of Salah, Mane, and Firmino demonstrating the best of their game.
To concede two goals late on would’ve disappointed Klopp, but he’ll be pleased and attentions turn to Saturday’s lunchtime clash against Stoke City. It’s a must win for Liverpool, who will rue the loss of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to injury. It leaves Klopp short in midfield, with so many important games to play.
For Stoke, it’s three points or nothing. They’re four points from safety with three to play. If the Potters want to stay up, they really have to take maximum points from their remaining games.
Paul Lambert will be hoping that being sandwiched between two crucial Champions League matches will give Stoke the chance to take advantage of Liverpool’s tiredness.

Crystal Palace v Leicester
On paper, it looks unlikely that Crystal Palace will be relegated, but boss Roy Hodgson is experienced enough to know that anything can happen in football. With three games to go, the Eagles currently sit in 14th, six points above Southampton in 18th. It would take a lot of bad luck and a number of factors to go against Hodgson’s side for Palace to be relegated, but the former England boss will be fully concentrated on taking three points at home to Leicester.
For Leicester, there is little to play for. They are safe from relegation but anything more than a mid-table finish is beyond the Foxes. Boss Claude Puel will be pleased with his side’s progress, though, and will be concentrating on laying the foundations for progress next year.
I think that Leicester will be desperate for three points, though and will fight to the end to secure them against Leicester.

Southampton v Bournemouth
Like Palace, Bournemouth is most likely safe from relegation. They are currently 9 points ahead of Southampton in 18th, with three games to play. Any point here at the Saints will guarantee Bournemouth’s safety ahead of the final two fixtures.
For Southampton, this is the most important game of their season. A relegation six-pointer if there ever was one. Boss Mark Hughes will be hoping that the home factor will spur his players to victory.
It’s a dismal position for a club like Southampton to be in. They are famed for their production of quality players, but they’ve got lost in that system and have suffered in the Premier League as a result.
It would be a grand shame to lose Southampton from the Premier League, but with no win since the first weekend in February, it’s hard to see them surviving now.
