With two huge games taking place on Sunday, the focus turns to the fight to stay in the Premier League. Liverpool welcome a struggling West Ham to Anfield, as the Hammers look to give themselves a bit more breathing space above the bottom three. Elsewhere, Swansea travel to Brighton and Stoke look up against it as they face an ever impressive Leicester City.

Liverpool v West Ham United

Liverpool welcome West Ham United to Anfield on Saturday with the Reds looking to continue their fine form. The 5-0 drubbing of Porto in the Champions League last week made it three wins from their last four.

A gameless weekend last weekend meant Jurgen Klopp could take his players to Marbella for some warm weather training and the German will be hoping it will do them the world of good. Liverpool looks dangerous and, for once, solid at the back, with Virgil Van Dijk and Loris Karius hitting form at the right time.

Form isn’t something West Ham have managed to find this season. Despite replacing Slaven Bilic with David Moyes earlier on this year, the former Manchester United and Everton boss has failed to truly steady the ship. A good 2-0 win in their last match against Watford was the Hammers’ first in four, and I can’t see them making it two in five at Anfield on Saturday.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Liverpool -2.25 at 2.428

Leicester City v Stoke

One manager who has been able to turn his side’s fortunes around his Claude Puel, who, since replacing Craig Shakespeare, has guided Leicester to 8th position in the Premier League. With just one point separating them and 7th place Burnley, the former Premier League champions are in with a real shot of Europa League qualification.

For Stoke, it’s been just one win from the last four games and they still find themselves in the relegation zone of the Premier League. Paul Lambert has improved performances, but he’s still failing to get the results they need to drag themselves out of trouble.

A trip to Leicester is a tough ask for Lambert’s men and, with some of the teams around them starting to pick up points, you can see it being a fight to the death for the Potters.
