Premier League Asian Handicap Previews – Saturday 23rd December

Everton v Chelsea

With Sam Allardyce settled on Merseyside, he welcomes champions Chelsea to Goodison Park in a clash which could make or break either side’s season.

What a difference Sam Allardyce has made to Everton. After a dismal start to the season under Ronald Koeman and then David Unsworth, Allardyce has lifted a flat Everton side.

The 3-1 win against Swansea on Monday was the latest win under Allardyce, who has lifted Everton to 9th in the Premier League table.

Chelsea struggled past Bournemouth on Wednesday night in the Carabao Cup quarter-final, but Antonio Conte did field an under-strength side. A loss here could make it mission impossible to catch Manchester City for Chelsea

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Everton 0.25 at 2.970

Leicester City v Manchester United

Former champions Leicester City welcome Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United to the King Power Stadium with Claude Puel hoping to see his side bounce back from the weekend’s humbling loss to Crystal Palace.

The Frenchman will have been pleased with how his side performed against Manchester City in the midweek cup game, despite their loss on penalties.

Jose Mourinho will know how tough a game this could be for his United side, but will be hoping his side can show enough quality to dispatch the Foxes. If they’re to have any hope of catching their cross-city rivals, they’ll have to win games like this.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Manchester United -0.75 at 2.190

Stoke City v West Brom

Mark Hughes is in trouble. The Stoke fans have turned against him and his side are just one point away from the relegation zone. He needs a win here.

Stoke fans will be looking to the opposition, West Brom, as an example of a side around them who have taken action by sacking their manager. Alan Pardew has had a decent start to life at the Hawthorns and will know that this is a winnable match for his side.

When you’re in a relegation fight, you really have to beat the teams in and around you. Pardew will be disappointed with the loss to Swansea a few weeks ago and will be hoping to correct it on Saturday.

Another loss could signal the end for Mark Hughes at Stoke.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: West Brom -0.25 at 3.020
