Premier League Asian Handicap Previews – Saturday 23rd September

Manchester City v Crystal Palace

Manchester City is the Premier Leagues form team and this weekend they meet the league’s whipping boys. The men from London sit afoot the Premier League table and it looks like they’ll be staying there for now.

New boss Roy Hodgson will have appreciated a better start to life at the Eagles, with Manchester City possibly the worst team he could’ve come up against as he tries to turn around their fortunes.

Pep Guardiola’s Man City side secured another win in midweek when they beat Tony Pulis’ West Brom side in midweek.

For Palace, their fans will be pleased that they finally won a game in midweek. Although it was the EFL Cup, Hodgson and the fans will be pleased that a 1-0 win over Huddersfield showed that they can compete.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Manchester City -2.75 at 2.480

Southampton v Manchester United

Southampton won their first Premier League in 3 games last weekend against Crystal Palace and boss Mauricio Pellegrino will be hoping it’s the springboard to better things this campaign.

In Manchester United, Pellegrino faces a huge task. Jose Mourinho has got his side playing to their potential already this season and every side in the Premier League will fear to play them.

I’d fully expect Mourinho’s side to continue their good form here, with the likes of Romelu Lukaku continue to find the net.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Manchester United -1.00 at 2.492

Leicester City v Liverpool

Many Liverpool fans are in panic mode. Whether they should be or not, the facts are that Liverpool is on a 3 game winless run. Draws against Burnley and Sevilla were followed up by a loss to Leicester City in the EFL Cup in midweek and the loss of Sadio Mane seems to be impacting Klopp’s men.

On Tuesday, Klopp’s side looked lackluster. Particularly after the withdrawal of wantaway star Philippe Coutinho at half-time, Liverpool looked lost for ideas. It took young star, Ben Woodburn, to try to ignite opportunities, but even he couldn’t break the Leicester barriers for the Reds.

Leicester boss Craig Shakespeare will know that his side will face a different Liverpool side on Saturday at the King Power Stadium. He’ll have confidence in his side to get another win against Klopp’s side, though, which would no doubt heap the pressure on the German further from impatient Liverpool fans.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Leicester City 0.25 at 2.390
