Silkeborg v Odense – Friday 28th October
Silkeborg also played last Friday in a match against Viborg. Our bet was Silkeborg AH +0.5 and with a 3-1 victory it was a strong tip with a winning outcome. Tonight Silkeborg will have a good chance to get a win at home against Odense.
Odense sold their most creative player Rasmus Falk during the summer to the Champions from FC Copenhagen. Since his move to the Capital there have not been enough speed and creativity in midfield to produce the same amount of chances as earlier. It has really been the Achilles of the team as they have only scored 11 goals in the first 14 matches. At the moment the team is on 13 th position and not getting playing well at all. Last week the team also lost in the Cup to Vendsyssel from the 1 st division, which dug the team deeper into the crisis.
Davit Skhirtladze was the man with a hattrick against Viborg last week and he is a player with a very high top level if things are going well for him and the team. With him showing more than just sparks Silkeborg should really be able to fire up the attack against Odense. For this match attacking player Nicolaj Agger will be out with an injury, but the rest of the squad should be the same as last week.
Odense are in a huge crisis and things are really not looking good for the team from the birth town of Hans Christian Andersen. This is by no means a fairytale and only points and goals can end this bad run. The Dutch central midfielder MohamedEl Makrini is suspended for this match leaving coach Kent Nielsen with a new headache. But not everything is bad for the home team. Striker Rasmus Festersen is back in the squad and could be fit to play a part in the match.
With the great form of Silkeborg and the crisis in Odense, I find a huge value in Silkeborg getting all three points and with the Asian Handicap Betting 0 you even get the money back if the teams draw.
Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Silkeborg +/-0 (DNB) at 1.89
Aarhus v Esbjerg – Monday 31st October
On Monday there will be a classic match in Jutland with Esbjerg travelling to Aarhus for a match with two teams in huge problems. In the last six matches Aarhus has collected two points and Esbjerg three points! The guests are currently placed last in the standings with 8 points which is 5 points behind Aarhus in 11th position. Both clubs have a great history but they are not playing anything like it at the moment.
In a match with such important points at stake I really feel Aarhus has been made to big favorites. Esbjerg keeper Jeppe Højbjerg played a poor match against FC Midtjylland in the last round but he has a very high level normally and I expect to see him back with full focus.
Aarhus averages 1.0 goal per match and Esbjerg 0.9 which leaves them in the bottom section with these stats. Aarhus only have a successful pass rate of 66% which is the lowest in the league and this can be one of the key points for Esbjerg to get their counter attacks going.
If you are a looking for a bit higher odds for a match like this, you could go for the AH +0.5 @ 2.26. With the AH +0.75 you will get half the stake back if Aarhus should win the match by exactly one goal.
Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Esjberg +0.75 at 2.04
