Barcelona v Paris Saint-Germain – Camp Nou at 19:45 live on ITV1

Paris Saint-Germian face one hell of an uphill battle as they travel to the Camp Nou, for their 2nd leg Quarter Final Champions League tie against Barcelona tomorrow night. The Catalans impressive 3-1 victory at the Parc des Princes in the reverse fixture last Wednesday has left them as 1.01 favorites to make it through to the Semi Finals and one step closer to winning the competition for the first time in 4 years. A great game in store with some value for the Asian Handicap punters out there.

Many think this is just a formality for Luis Enrique’s side but you should never write off the Parsiens, especially after what we saw in the previous round against Chelsea. PSG were behind on 3 occasions over the 2 legs and down to 10-men early on at the Bridge but still came through on away goals. They will need to be at their very best along with Barca having a bad day if they stand any chance of qualifying.

Barcelona ended PSG’s run of 34 matches unbeaten at home in the competition last week. The Catalans boast a record of just one defeat their last 31 Champions League at home and have won 14 their 16 La Liga matches at the Camp Nou this season.

They comfortably beat Valencia at the weekend, making 5 changes to their starting line up from that in Paris. Messi and Suarez were on the score sheet on Saturday, Messi scoring his 46th goal this season and Suarez netting his 6th goal in 7 games, taking his total to 19 in 34.

Dani Alves is available again for Barcelona as is Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marco Veratti for the visitors after serving their suspensions. PSG are likely to be without Thiago Silva after he limped off in the 1st leg and a less than 100% David Luiz who was shown up by Suarez last week, is likely to step in. Thiago Motta is also a doubt.

With home advantage and full strength side, an in-from Barcelona are going to be almost impossible to beat. I’m going to go one step further and say they will cover the Asian Handicap line of -1.5 at odds against as they have done in 14 of their 20 UCL & La Liga home matches this season.

Asian Handicap Recommendation: Barcelona -1.5 @ 2.05
