Arsenal v Manchester United – Emirates Stadium at 19:55 (UTC/GMT)
The rivalry between Arsenal and Manchester United is one of the most recognized in English football, and a continuation of this derby will happen at Emirates Stadium on Friday as the two teams attempt to polish their FA Cup campaign for the current season.
Arsenal gunned down one of the top teams in the English Premier League Chelsea last Saturday, scoring 2-0. They lost to West Ham though earlier this month falling 1-0.
The Gunners will still continue to show off in the FA Cup while the memory of their 22-game unbeaten run earlier in the season is still fresh in the team’s’ memory, and it is more than enough for them to release some energy and confidence as they will be facing Man United on Friday.
United’s excellent winning streak will be put into a test as the Gunners are unusually hot in the season.
Last Saturday, United scored a 2-1 win over Brighton, as well as a 0-1 victory over Tottenham last week. United also made a 0-2 win over Newcastle earlier this month.
In the previous month, Manchester hammered Bournemouth in a 4-1 win, and scored 3-1 against Huddersfield prior to that.
In their FA Cup campaign, United also defeated Reading 2-0 at home in the third round.
– Henrikh Mkhitaryan has doubtful appearance in the Gunners’ match with Man United on Friday, although he is expected to be back in training within the week.
– United’s Marouane Fellaini is injured with calf strain and is not expected to show up in any fixture until 24th February this year.
– Either Stephan Lichtsteiner or Ainsley Maitland-Niles would stand up for Hector Bellerin who has been ruled out from Arsenal for the rest of the season after suffering from a serious knee injury.
– Chris Smalling and Marcos Rojo are also ruled out from Man United game on Friday.
– Team manager Unai Emery is known for testing kids in the Gunners’ games outside of the Premier League, so he is expected to release younger members of the club such as Matteo Guendouzi.
– Luke Shaw also has doubtful appearance on Friday for Man United.

Arsenal 2-1 Manchester United
The Gunners sparked one strong momentum after they defeated their rivals in London Chelsea last Saturday in the English top-tier. United defeated Reading in the Third Round of their FA Cup campaign this season, but the team’s domination is doubtful when the rivals are their fellow teams in the top of the top-tier league. Both teams are expected to release younger players in the field, but Arsenal so far have a higher success rate in doing so. Nevertheless, both teams are expected to score as both the Gunners and United made a goal in their last five matches in the season.
