Allsvenskan Asian Handicap Previews – Saturday 26th August

Usually, we are able to see at least three games of Allsvenskan on Saturdays. This weekend, it is only one. The game against AFC and Hammarby should be interesting since both of them have become better during the summer with some new signings.

AFC is in great shape with four points in the last two games. Those games were against Malmö at home and AIK away. During the week they did lose against division one team Vasalund in the Cup and they also got their two best players, Turay and Razak suspended here.

Hammarby has gone from defensive and boring to attacking and interesting during the summer. With signings like Tankovic, Svendsen, and Andersen, we should see a different mentality from Hammarby during the last ten games.

If both of the teams had their strongest squads available, I shouldn’t have recommended this bet. But when AFC has both Razak and Turay suspended I think they will be the problem here. Hammary is a positive trend and will probably attack this game with great confidence.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Hammarby -0.5 at 1.781

This is the biggest game of the season in Allsvenskan. By far. The two capital rivals face each other in a game that means more than three points. Djurgården hasn’t won this derby in seven years, but now they are two points ahead of AIK and sure hopes to kill this ghost once and for all.

AIK plays at home, but at Friends Arena, they’ve had some problems this season with 3-4-3 and 8-8. Last round AIK took three easy points against Östersund and got some necessary rest after weeks of bad results. Ahead of this game, AIK has some doubts with Ishizaki, Thern, and Obasi. If they are available, AIK can face the best eleven.

Djurgården is in great shape, second place in the table, with great confidence and also with a type of football that the fans enjoy. The guests also have some doubts with Olsson, Beijmo, and Isaksson. At least Olsson and Isaksson should be able to play.

The atmosphere will be great here, but that is probably the only thing we know for sure ahead of this game. In my opinion, AIK has a better squad, both when it comes to edge and also the depth. Coach Rikard Norling will have a lot of options in the midfield and in the attack. Djurgården has a good starting eleven, but I think they lack some quality to change the game plan. I don’t think AIK will lose here.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: AIK -0.25 at 2.030

There hasn’t been a lot of experts talking about Häcken this season, but if we look at the table we must admit Häcken as one of the teams who really is in the race for the spots to Europa League. Now they face J Södra who is in the bottom of the league and is in desperate need of points.

Häcken managed to draw against IFK Göteborg in the derby last round, but the point was expensive. Now they have Faltsetas and Ojala suspended. Otherwise, they still miss Binaku, Farnerud, Kamara, and Sudic who all are injured.

J Södra got a last minute point against Elfsborg last round and that should give some confidence. But at the same time, Elfsborg isn’t good right now and that game was on grass.

It should be some difference in quality between these two teams and even if Häcken has some key players out, they can put a strong lineup on the field. On the artificial grass, I think they should be able to dominate the game against J Södra.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Häcken -0.75 at 1.826
