Allsvenskan Asian Handicap Previews – Sunday 22nd April

Malmö is three games without a win – an early mini-crisis at the champions. Now they face the newcomer Brommapojkarna who lost last round against Elfsborg Malmö can’t afford to lose points here and will probably attack from the first minute.

Captain Marcus Rosenberg started on the bench last round and was not happy with that. Here he will most probably start along with players like Eric Larsson and Arnor Traustason that both should be back.

No surprise is to expect in the lineup and Brommapojkarna doesn’t have anything to lose here. That means that Brommapojkarna could go out and try to play their own game – but if we look at quality, there should be some difference here.

Malmö is under pressure here since the champion of last year has two draws and one heavy loss in the last three rounds. I think Brommapojkarna will be in big problems here. A fully motivated Malmö, with key players back in the line up should go full attack from the first minute here. I see a big win coming.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Malmö -1.5 at 1.760

AIK hasn’t lost so far and that is a very important start for the challenger. Last round, they rotated a bit and only got a draw but after four rounds we see AIK second in the table. IFK Göteborg won last round, but again, they didn’t really impress.

There are some attacking problems in AIK here. Tarik Elyounoussi got subbed in the first half last round with hamstring problems. Replacement Nicolas Stefanelli got a red card and Stefan Silva still isn’t fully fit. In the defense, Alexander Milosevic and Daniel Sundgren should be back.

Important for IFK Göteborg that Gustav Engvall found the goal in last round. It’s important also to win again after two straight defeats. IFK Göteborg is still re-building and it will probably take some time before they reach their level.

All of AIKs four games have gone Under 2.5 goals so far. The defense is solid and the two goals they have conceded so far is from set pieces. One corner and one penalty. With the doubtful players in the attack, I think AIK will try to control the game and I really see a tight and tactical game here.

Asian Total Goals Betting Recommendation: Under 2.5 goals at 1.820

Interesting game. Djurgården bounced back after the derby loss and grabbed a massive win against Malmö last round. Now they will try to continue on that road. Elfsborg finally won against Brommapojkarna away. That was important after starting the season with zero points in the first three games.

Elfsborg looks a lot like last season – weak defensively and interesting when attacking. At least they got interesting and good players in the attack but so far they haven’t really found their form. The win last round should give confidence.

What a win last round. Ring and Kadewere were brilliant against Malmö and the 3-0 win was really impressive. We should not see any changes in the lineup here.

Elfsborg at home is an attacking team. With the amount of quality players, the bad start, and the win last round, I don’t see Elfsborg to go out and be careful here. Djurgården has a great confidence again after the win against Malmö and with Elfsborg’s bad start in mind, I think Djurgården really will go for the win. Two teams that will try to attack – I see an open game.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Over 2.5 goals at 1.980
