ÖSTERSUND v AIK

Östersund is in the middle of the playoff to Europa League and on Thursday they loss 3-1 to PAOK away. Sure, a heavy loss but also a result that not is impossible to turn around at home. AIK is under pressure and must show something here.

Evey time Östersund has been in the middle of a qualification game they also have med big rotations in Allsvenskan and I don’t think there will be any difference here. Sure, replacement isn’t bad but Östersund will not put the strongest team on the field here.

Two games in a row without a win and in both of the games AIK have been a disappointment. Last round, only 1-1 at home against the bottom side AFC Eskilstuna. Now, the supporters demand a performance and a win here will give some necessary peace.

AIK will have Per Karlsson out but with Jesper Nyholm as a replacement, it wouldn’t be any problems. Otherwise, the guests have a very strong squad now and should be able to put a decent performance in this game. Against a tired and rotated Östersund I think the guests will have chances enough to win.

SIRIUS v IFK NORRKÖPING

Sirius doesn’t stop impressing as a newcomer in the league. Last round was easy three points against Halmstad away and now they really can start dreaming of Europe next season. If Sirius is dreaming, IFK Norrköping is having nightmares. Three points in the last five games are not good enough.

There is something quite unique about Sirius. Three broken hands this season, a lot of injuries that never stops – but still winning. Sure we have seen some bad performances as well but Sirius is here to stay and with the re-born striker Shkodran Maholli they sure will get chances here.

IFK Norrköping has sold the chances of being a threat to Malmö this season. Bärkroth, Telo, and Eliasson were key players for this team and the new signings have not yet been good enough. Now they also saw Blomqvist get seriously injured again in the loss against Djurgården. Heavy hit for IFK Norrköping

With IFK Norrköpings form with four losses in the five last games, with the sold key players and the injury situation I really think Sirius will have a great chance here. The home side plays without respect and with a lot of faith in their own game plan. In my opinion, maybe the best bet of the weekend.

ÖREBRO v HAMMARBY

Quite interesting game, even if it is between two times in the middle of nowhere on the table. None of the two teams will compete for any spots to Europe and none of them will be fighting for a new contract. Still – an interesting game.

Örebro has some edge in the team with players like Igboananike, Besara, Gerzic, and Omoh. At home, they usually can compete with any teams in the league. Problem is that they usually dip during the games. In 20 minutes they look solid as a rock, next 20 minutes they lose focus. It also is a big question about important central defender Almebäck in this game.

Hammarby has been rebuilding the whole team this season. With the new coach Michelsen and new sporting director Jansson it has happened a lot in the squad during the summer. A lot of quality and potential has arrived, but everybody knows that it takes time before they find each other.

In my opinion, these two teams are quite even. The main reason why I choose this bet is because of the doubt about Örebros key defender Almebäck who probably will miss this game and also the positive spirit around Hammarby. The whole club is optimistic after some very interesting signings and that should get positive vibes to the team.
