Hacken v Helsingborgs
Hacken come up against one of the newly promoted teams here facing Helsingborgs at home in what I think will be an exciting game. Hacken were held to a 1-1 draw last game v Malmo, there could have been a lot more goals in that one had the chances been converted. Helsingborgs had a great win over Norrkoping scoring 3 goals and they were slight under dogs going into the game.
Its only game week 2 as the season gets going we will be able to rely a bit more on statistics, however lets add some context to how these teams have done last season and in preseason.
Hacken averaged 2.6 goals per 90 mins last season at home in the Allsvenskan & Helsinborgs averaged 1.93 goals per 90 mins away from home in the Superettan. Helsingborgs have been on fire during the preseason scoring 18 goals in 9 games averaging 2 goals per game. Hacken also had a very good preseason scoring 31 goals in 13 games averaging 2.38 goals per game.
Now the goal line is set at 2.5 goals and I can see why, there’s been plenty of action and we hope that continues on Saturday. The price for over 2.5 goal is at 1.91 currently indicating a 52.35% chance of it landing. I think we have some solid value here when looking at how both teams have fared in front of goal and I would expect that line to move closer to kick off.
Hacken come into the game as firm favourites at 1.66, Helsingborgs are currently priced at 5.95 and the draw is priced at 3.95. Markets are suggesting this should be an easy win for Hacken and it most likely will but I expect to see plenty chances and hopefully they convert them.
Asian Total Goals Betting Recommendation: Over 2.50 goals at 1.910
Sundsvall v Malmo
Sundsvall host Malmo at home in game week 2 hoping to cause an upset following their 2-2 draw away to Djurgarden last week. Malmo come into the game on the back of a draw also, they were held 1-1 at home to Hacken in what was a very attacking game, both sides showing off their attacking prowess it really was a great game to watch.
Malmo had the better chances against Hacken with 15 shots and 5 of those on target, a 33.33% conversation rate. Malmo also missed a pen which would have put them 2-0 up and possibly could have sealed the game for them.
Sundsvall had the majority of the ball against Djurgarden in their last game with 58.29% possession however getting the shots off seemed to be an issue with only 9 shots in the game but an impressive 5 shots on target, a 55.56% conversation rate.
Sundsvall averaged 1.47 goals per 90 mins last season at home in the Allsvenskan and Malmo averaged 1.67 goals per 90 mins last season playing away. Sundsvall had a somewhat mixed preseason and Malmo had much more productive one.
The market has the goal line set at 2.50 with overs being priced at 2.03 indicating a 49.26% chance of overs landing, however the market seems to be very favourable for Malmo in the 1X2 market.
Malmo come in as firm favourites priced at 1.80, making the underdogs Sundsvall 5.22 with the draw priced at 3.75. You are getting some great value on VOdds, if you’re backing Malmo as they are priced as low as 1.70 in other books. The price should crash closer to kick off.
This is exactly what I’m doing, I will take the value on offer and side with Malmo in what could potentially be a low scoring game. I feel Malmo were very unlucky against Hacken and should have won, should they continue to play like that against Sundsvall on Saturday they should win comfortably.
Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Malmo -0.50 at 1.800
Sirius v AFC Eskilstuna
Sirius face Eskilstuna at home on Monday, Eskilstuna are another one of the newly promoted teams in the Allsvenskan this season and notched a somewhat surprisingly comfortable win against Goteborg in their first game of the season. Sirius also had a winning start to the campaign winning 2-0 away to Kalmar.
Again due to it only being game week 2 as the season gets going we will be able to rely a bit more on statistics, however lets add some context to how these teams have done last season and in preseason.
Sirius had a somewhat disappointing preseason looking at the fixtures however Eskilstuna enjoyed a good preseason beating some of the current Allsvenskan teams such as Djurgarden and AIK in the Svenska Cupen.
Sirius averaged 1.53 goals per 90 mins last season at home in the Allsvenskan and Eskilstuna averaged just 0.87 goals per 90 mins last season away in the Superettan. Eskilstuna experienced lots of draws away from home last season and were solid at home allowing them to be promoted.
The market has the goal line set at 2.25 goals, the price on offer is 1.94 indicating a 51.54% of this landing and I think it does. I was impressed with Eskilstuna attacking movement in their last game versus Goteborg and I think they will find the net again on Monday.
Now the question is will Sirius find their shooting boots at home and not allow Eskilstuna to pinch another win, the market seems to think they will. Sirius come into the game as favourites priced at 2.33 with Eskilstuna priced at 3.30 and the draw 3.35.
Let’s hope the 1X2 market is correct indicating a win for Sirius meaning goals have to be scored to fend off Eskilstuna.
Asian Total Goals Betting Recommendation: Over 2.25 goals at 1.940
