Allsvenskan Asian Handicap Previews – Sunday 23rd October

Only four rounds left of the Swedish season now and to be honest, there isn’t a lot to play for now. Maybe we can get some tension in the bottom if Gefle can win the North Derby on Friday night against GIF Sundsvall. Otherwise, Malmö has seven points down to AIK in the top of the table and the title looks bullet proof. Anyway, we have some exciting games in the middle of the table and thats where I look this weekend.

Örebro v Helsingborg

Örebro against Helsingborg is not the most interesting game this weekend. But it is important for Helsingborg who maybe will have some pressure from Gefle. Otherwise Helsingborg is looking at a play off to stay in Allsvenskan next season.

Örebro has some injuries in the defense, and central defender Erik Moberg will probably miss this game. Up front it looks good with Astrit Ajdarevic, Viktor Sköld and Nordin Gerzic ready to play. Örebro still has a chance to get to the top 4.

Helsingborg looks worse than ever. Another loss last round and it’s safe to say that it looks bad in the squad. The supporters chanted that the manager, and legend, Henrik Larsson should leave the club. The injury situation is better tough.

Örebro is a better team and they still have a great chance to play in Europe next season. Against a Helsingborg side that almost hates to play on artificial grass, I really think that Örebro should win this.

Asian Handicap Recommendation: Örebro -0.5 at 2.08

Häcken v Kalmar

An exciting game that should be fun that watch. Both of the teams are in good shape and both of the teams still have a pretty good chance to climb a bit at the end of the season. This game has potential to be one of the best games of the round.

Häcken has two players suspended here, striker Crespo Kamara and defensive midfielder Mohammed Abubakari. But on the positive side – Paulinho is back! One of the best players in the whole league and of course he scored right away in the come back last round.

Kalmar has two players out – both of them is important defenders in Nouri and Biskupovic. Otherwise, Kalmar is in pretty good shape and must keep winning to still have a chance to get to Europe next season.

As you can understand, I will go for goals here. Both of the teams MUST win to climb and still have a chance to play in Europe. Both of the teams have their strengths in the attacking players and both teams have defensive players suspended.

Asian Handicap Recommendation: Over 3 goals at 2.01

Hammarby v Elfsborg

Hammarby is the happiest team in the league, even if they only are in the middle of the table. The derby win gave them a lot of energy and that could actually give them a fifth, or even a fourth place when we close the season. Elfsborg won again last round but it wasn’t impressive.

The home side turned the derby around, and won 4-2 after being down 2-0 in the first half. Romolu scored a hattrick and everything is positive in Hammarby. Squad situation is a bit tricky here since Saetra, Smarason and Saevarsson are suspended and Boo-Wiklander still a doubt.

Elfsborg won, but it was only with 1-0 against a weak Helsingborg. The guests still have a good chance to climb and the artificial grass on Tele2 is not a problem for the guests. Squad situation is almost perfect and Elfsborg will probably get som space to counter here.

My motivation here is almost the same as in Örebro – Kalmar. None of the them will be happy with a draw and both of the team really needs to win. None of them is in any danger from hunting teams and both of them still has a chance to get to the places that leads to Europe – we should see goals.

Asian Handicap Recommendation: Over 3 goals at 2.13
