Allsvenskan Asian Handicap Previews- Friday 12th May

Another good round for me and the feeling is getting better for every week now that all the teams and the whole league are settling. As predicted, Malmö is one step ahead of all the others and it’s no surprise if we look at the squad. This round is quite tricky but as last round I’ve found three bets.

AIK is a disappointment so far – but still has 11 points and is sharing the second spot in the league. Last game against Halmstad was a replay of the one against GIF Sundsvall and against Sirius and now they face Örebro, a team that has one point in last four games.

Big knock to AIK and the offense that Henok Goitom will miss rest of the spring season due to a knee injury. To this game AIK also has captain Nils-Eric Johansson and playmaker Kristoffer Olsson out with suspension.

Örebro didn’t have anything to say against Djurgården last round at lost 4-0. The guests still have their top scorer Kennedy Igboananike suspended and to be honest, the replacement isn’t at the same level.

AIK is a stronger team and has a pretty good mentality right now. Sure, they have problems scoring and the lack of quality up front is obvious, but the defense is rock solid – most clean sheets this season. With Örebros top scorer suspended I think we will see a new one here and I go for another Under 2.5 here.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Under 2.5 at 2.080

Sirius is not only showing that they can play an entertaining and offensive football. They also show some spirit. Last round the new comer picked up a point in last minute against Häcken away. Elfsborg played a pretty good game but lost against Malmö.

Sirius got Björkebaum injured early in the last game and he should miss this one. Otherwise, Arvidsson should be back in the starting lineup. At home, Sirius was very good last season in Superettan, but there is a question mark about the quality at Studenternas.

Elfsborg has scored the most goals so far with 15 goals in the first 7 games. With Jebali, Prodell and Frick up front, together with Lundevall in the midfield there is no doubt about the attacking quality.

I think we will see a fun game here with two teams that plays for the three points and preferens the attacking game – the only thing that concerns me is the quality of the field, but in my opinion it’s still a good bet.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Over 2.75 at 1.869

The former champion Malmö has started the season perfect is already top of the line, 6 points ahead of the nearest opponent. Impressive. Last rounds win against Elfsborg showed what they are capable of and now they face the cup champion Östersund in a game that should be one of the best so far this season.

Malmö has only one concern ahead of this game – the defense. The injured central defenders Nielsen and Bengtsson gets company from left defender Pa Konate. That means that coach Magnus Pehrsson must rotate again. Midfield and attack still looks strong.

Östersund won against Hammarby last round but it was a tricky game. Hammarby took the lead, and Gero got a red card. But Östersund turned the game around and won at overtime. Now they have Saman Ghoddos back – important.

Östersund is a fun team to watch and they should come to Malmö withour any fear. Last year they won this game, and with the cup title still fresh they should have confidence. Will it be enough? I don’t think so. In my opinion, Malmö is still one size to big, even if they have some injuries.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Malmö -0.75 at 1.900
