Bournemouth v Southampton

Southampton has struggled for wins this year and has found goals hard to come by. As a result, new boss Mauricio Pellegrini must be feeling the pressure. Wednesday’s game saw the Saints give a good performance against Manchester City, but as they have done on so many occasions this year, Pep’s side found a way to sneak a late win.

Bournemouth also suffered a 2-1 loss in mid-week, at the hands of high-flying Burnley. The loss means that Bournemouth drops to 15th in the table, just five points off the bottom of the table Crystal Palace.

It’s hard to see this game excite, but a win for either side could be huge come to the end of the season.

Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Southampton – 0.25 at 2.250

Manchester City v West Ham United

Well, well, well. It’s hard to write anything new about Manchester City at the moment. Pep’s side is high-flying and look as though they’re untouchable at the top of the Premier League table already.

Perhaps the most impressive aspect of Pep’s spell with City this season is the way that he has rejuvenated Raheem Sterling. The England international has shown a new killer instinct this season, with his goals worth 14 points this season to City – that’s 35% of their season total to date.

Poor David Moyes. It’s hard to see how Moyes’ West Ham can come out of this match with anything. It was a sorry return to Everton for Moyes in midweek, with his side falling 4-0 losers. They’re in the relegation zone and don’t look as though they’ll be climbing out of it anytime soon.

I don’t think Guardiola will need any injury time winners in this match.
