SIRIUS v GIF SUNDSVALL
Sirius last few games have been a disappointment, but the dream of Europe is still alive and the national break was good for Sirius and all the injuries they’ve struggled with this season. GIF Sundsvall grabbed three massive points before the break at home against Örebro.
Sirius has three in a row without a win at home. But as I mentioned, the break came very well for the hosts who now should have some players back from injury. Also, Busch-Thor and Haglund is back from suspension.
GIF Sundsvall is still fighting for a new contract and the three points were very necessary last round. The question is – how motivated was Örebro? Here GIF Sundsvall will probably have key midfielder Krogh-Gerson and of course also Batanero who is suspended.
Sirius is a better team and we should see that here. With players back from both suspension and injury, we should see a home side with a lot of motivation and energy. Guests GIF Sundsvall usually plays at artificial grass – that is also a key factor when I recommend this bet.
Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Sirius: -0.5 at 1.880
HAMMARBY v AIK
AIK didn’t manage to win the derby in the last round even if they had three points in the pocket when the clock showed 80 minutes. Here they will have a new chance to win a derby. This time it’s on artificial grass. Hammarby have a new squad since last season and the performances have been both positive and negative so far.
Hammarby has one doubt ahead of this game – central midfielder Junior who has been very important this season. Otherwise, the squad situation looks good and the break came perfectly for Hammarby who got important days with the new signings to learn the coach and the new teammates.
AIK also has one doubt – Chinedu Obasi. The top player has problems with his knee after a hit during the last derby and so far the striker hasn’t been in full training ahead of this game. Replacement is Henok Goitom, also a top player. Otherwise, AIK will have Amin Affane and Simon Thern back.
AIK is the best team in Sweden on artificial grass and should be very motivated after they’ve missed the win last round. Sure, Hammarby looks exciting with the new signings but in my opinion there still is a pretty gap between the teams when we look at quality. AIK should be the better team here and the odds will probably drop if Obasi gets available.
Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: AIK -0.25 at 2.120
IFK GÖTEBORG v DJURGÅRDEN
IFK Göteborg has shown great mentality after the change of coach. Fighting spirit has been the key and that gave a point against Malmö away and victories against AIK and against Elfsborg. Djurgården, sure, they are second at the table but will most certainly drop a bit during the last games.
IFK Göteborg will be without central defender De Graca who is suspended but the ordinary Rogne will probably be back and play with Boo-Wiklander. IFK Göteborg is unbeaten at home with 3-7-0.
Djurgården ended the derby with a positive spirit after they scored 1-1 with 10 minutes left and also were very close to winning the game. Here, the coach Özcan Melcemichel will probably have some headache about the attacking position. Engvall is better, but Badji has shown great shape.
IFK Göteborg is very strong at home and has great confidence now after the change of coach. With the important point away against Malmö I think the squad and the whole club got a lot of energy.
